Groep 17: Rhododendron met mooi blad.

In deze groep zijn allerlei soorten en vormen ingedeeld, die uitmunten door hun fraaie blad, de bloemen zijn hier secundair. De groeiwijze loopt sterk uiteen, de moeilijkheidsgraad eveneens. This group includes species and cultivars, excelling by their beautiful foliage, the flowers are usually less important. The habit and growth are quite different, as is the rate of difficulty in cultivation. You can find more information and also pictures in the books Rhododendron Portraits and Encyclopedia of Rhododendron Species.

In dieser Gruppe sind allerhand Arten und Sorten eingeteilt, die sich durch ihre schönen Blätter auszeichnen. Die Blüten sind hier weniger wichtig. Habitus ist sehr unterschiedlich, wie auch die Kulturansprüche. Sie finden mehr Auskunft und auch Abbildungen im Rhododendron Atlas und Encyclopedia of Rhododendron Species.

En cette groupe on trouve des espèces et cultivars qui excellent par leur feuillage magnifique, les fleurs sont moins importantes. Leur forme est très différente, et souvent ces plantes sont un peu difficile à cultiver.
