Japanese Azalea Mat forming species, acid soil. This plant grows to about 30 cm. The flower colour is reddish orange. This plant is hardy.

This plant belongs in group C4 : not exceeding 30 cm, much wider, leaves small, 1-3 cm long, flowers in small trusses or solitary
